Present there were the north side's military working delegation led by Senior Colonel of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces Yu Yong Chol and the south side's military working delegation led by Colonel of the Ministry of National Defence Mun Song Muk.
The head of the north side said that the adoption of the "agreement on preventing accidental conflicts in the West Sea and halting the propaganda in the areas along the Military Demarcation Line and removing its means" made a fresh breakthrough in providing a military guarantee for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration as it helps remove the root cause of confrontation and distrust that has always remained in the frontline areas and in the sea for the past scores of years.
