Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Welcome to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pakistan strongly condemns unjustified and illegitimate aggression by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Israeli military strikes violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and clearly contravene the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. Iran has the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Pakistan stands in resolute solidarity with the people of Iran and unequivocally denounces these blatant provocations, which constitute a grave danger and a serious threat to the peace, security, and stability of the entire region and beyond, with serious implications.
The international community and the United Nations bear the responsibility to uphold international law, stop this aggression immediately and hold the aggressor accountable for its actions.
In light of the rapidly evolving regional developments and the unprecedented escalation of tensions in the Middle East, particularly owing to the ongoing military aggression of Israel against Iran, the Foreign Ministers of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of Chad, the Union of the Comoros, the Republic of Djibouti, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Iraq, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates hereby affirm the following:
• The categorical rejection and condemnation of Israel's recent attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran since the 13th of June 2025, and any actions that contravene international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, while emphasizing the necessity of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, adhering to principles of good neighborliness, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
• The imperative need to halt Israeli hostilities against Iran, which come during a time of increasing tension in the Middle East, and to work towards de-escalation, to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire and restoration of calm, while expressing great concern regarding this dangerous escalation, which threatens to have serious consequences on the peace and stability of the entire region.
• The urgent necessity of establishing a Middle East Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction, which shall apply to all States in the region without exception in line with relevant international resolutions, as well as the urgent need for all countries of the Middle East to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
• The paramount importance of refraining from targeting nuclear facilities that are under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards, in accordance with the relevant IAEA resolutions and United Nations Security Council decisions, as such acts constitute a violation of international law and international humanitarian law, including the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
• The urgency of a swift return to the path of negotiations as the only viable means to reach a sustainable agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
• The importance of safeguarding the freedom of navigation in international waterways per the relevant rules of international law and refraining from undermining maritime security.
• That diplomacy, dialogue, and adherence to the principles of good neighborliness, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, remain the only viable path to resolving crises in the region, and that military means cannot bring about a lasting resolution to the ongoing crisis.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversations with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi; Foreign Minister of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan; Foreign Minister of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty; Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and the UK Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon David Lammy MP.
The leaders expressed deep concern over the deteriorating regional situation. They reaffirmed their commitment to work closely for maintaining peace and stability in the region and beyond. The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister highlighted the serious threats to peace and stability in the region and beyond, stemming from Israel's unjustified attacks on Iran. Leaders stressed the need to defuse tensions and prevent further escalation.
The Foreign Secretary, Ambassador Amna Baloch, inaugurated the Regional Consultations on Responsible AI in Military Domain (REAIM) in Islamabad on 17 June 2025.
In her keynote remarks, the Foreign Secretary inter-alia underscored:
• Military AI is transforming warfare, but legal and political frameworks are lagging behind.
• This transformation was unfolding in a deeply fragile international landscape and was lowering threshold for use of force.
• In South Asia, autonomous weapon capabilities were used for the first time in a nuclear environment and was compressing decision time during crises.
• Global governance must remain anchored in the UN system; REAIM offers a valuable complement for Developing States' need for capacity-building and regional dialogue to ensure inclusive rule-making.
• Innovation in AI must be guided by principle of human control and judgment must remain paramount.
17 States from West, Central and South Asia, participated in the two-day Regional Consultations of REAIM, held in partnership with the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands and Spain.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired a high-level meeting to review the status of ongoing assistance provided by Pakistan to the Palestinian people on 14 June 2025.
The DPM/FM expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza & West Bank, resulting from Israel's blatant violations of human rights. Reaffirming Pakistan's unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the Palestinian cause, the DPM/FM emphasized on the need to enhance the provision of humanitarian relief to the Palestinian people as well as to extend educational assistance to the Palestinian students.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired a high-level meeting on 13 June 2025 to review preparations for the upcoming 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) to be held in Abu Dhabi on 24 June 2025. The meeting was attended by SAPM to DPM Office, Federal Secretaries of Economic Affairs, Commerce, Maritime Affairs, Interior, Inter-Provincial Coordination, National Heritage, and Health, along with senior officials from relevant ministries and departments, including MoFA, Overseas Pakistanis, Finance, Railways, Defence, and Tourism.
Discussions focused on advancing key bilateral initiatives, formalizing collaboration in existing sectors, exploring new avenues for cooperation, and attracting mutually beneficial UAE investment in priority areas. The DPM/FM reiterated Pakistan's firm commitment to strengthening Pakistan-UAE economic and trade relations.
The fifth round of the Pakistan-European Union Dialogue on Non-Proliferation and Disarmament was held in Islamabad on 12 June 2025. The Pakistan delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary for Arms Control, Disarmament, and International Security (ACDIS), Ambassador Tahir Andrabi, while the European Union delegation was headed by EU Special Envoy for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Ambassador Stephan Klement.
Both sides engaged in a comprehensive exchange of views on issues related to international and regional peace, security, and strategic stability. Pakistan side briefed their EU interlocutors on developments in the wake of recent Pakistan-India conflict. The discussions also focused on various dimensions of disarmament and non-proliferation, with particular reference to the agenda of the UN General Assembly's First Committee, the Conference on Disarmament and International Conventions, including the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). The avenues for enhanced cooperation in the domain of Science Diplomacy were also explored.
The Indian authorities continue to impose different curbs in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). On the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, the local people were not allowed to congregate at Srinagar's historic Jamia Masjid and Eidgah for the Eid prayers. The prayer leader and prominent Kashmiri leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, was also placed under house arrest. This was seventh consecutive year when the Eid prayers were not allowed at the said places.
Clearly, this oppressive measure is another example of the high-handed approach of the Indian authorities, and a violation of the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people, including rights to freely practice their religion and peaceful assembly. We urge the Indian authorities to respect the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people, and grant them their inalienable right to self-determination, as enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
I thank you.

(Faisal Kamal Pasha, WE News): I think the most pertinent question for today is about the meeting that took place in the White House between Army Chief Field Marshal, Asim Munir and the US President. What you know about the agenda of that meeting? Was it about Iran?
Spokesperson: I think the ISPR statement is very comprehensive. I will refer you to the ISPR statement, which completely covers the details of the meeting.
(Khawaja Nayyar Iqbal, Media Today): Sir, President Trump praised and showed love for Pakistan, need your comments on the reasons behind this change. Secondly, Canadian intelligence agency has exposed India once again. Your comments?
Spokesperson: We have decades old, long standing, multi-dimensional, and comprehensive relations with the United States, which remain robust, very dense and rich. Interaction with the US has continued unabated, and we welcome and acknowledge the positive role played by the United States, particularly President Donald Trump, in diffusing the escalation which occurred because of the Indian aggression against Pakistan.
About the second part of your question, this is something which Pakistan has been highlighting. We note that the international community is becoming more aware of India's role in perpetrating global terrorism. Pakistan has been the primary victim of it. And we have continued to draw attention of the international community to what India has been doing in fanning terrorism across the globe.
(Khalid Mehmood, Express News): Sir, there is a propaganda campaign against Iran regarding regime change. Can you comment on it that? If it happens, then what would be the stance of Pakistan?
Spokesperson: Sir, Iran is a very close friend, partner and a neighbor of Pakistan, and we have very long-standing historical, cultural, political and economic ties with Iran. Our position, which I repeated today as well, has been expressed authoritatively, through the Foreign Ministry's statement; our speech at the UN Security Council debate on the situation, and several statements made by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. About what you are referring to in your question, I find it speculative, and I cannot comment on a speculative question at this point in time.
(Saima Shabbir, Arab News Pakistan): My question is about Pakistani students who are stranded in Iran. So what Pakistan's embassy is doing to bring them back to Pakistan? And what are the steps taken by the Foreign Office in this regard?
Spokesperson: Evacuation of Pakistanis is underway. Our Embassy in Tehran and our Consulates in Zahidan and Mashhad have been active round the clock, extending all possible facilitation and support to our nationals in Iran. And I also must acknowledge our gratitude to the Iranian authorities for their sensitivity and all possible facilitation and help extended in this regard. So far, nearly 3000 Pakistani nationals have already been evacuated. They have moved to Pakistan via multiple routes. Routes include; via Gabd, via Taftan, via Ashgabat to Pakistan; via Baku to Pakistan and via Baghdad to Pakistan. Evacuation process is moving smoothly, and our authorities are extending all possible assistance and cooperation in this regard.
(Azadeh Moshiri, BBC): As it stands now, does Pakistan believe that Iran must fulfill its obligations towards towards the IAEA? And does it agree with Iran that the recent censure from the IAEA was politically motivated?
Spokesperson: We have always advocated the route of diplomacy, and in our assessment, Iran has been engaged in that. We have not seen a rupture between Iran and IAEA interaction. Iran has been engaged in this complex process. However, the specific IAEA resolution that you mentioned, as our past practice, Pakistan abstained on it.
(Sardar Shokat Mehmood Khan, Islamabad Today): After the eminence Pakistan has achieved on diplomatic and defence grounds due to India's latest aggression against Pakistan and the statement of the President Trump regarding Kashmir, do you think that Pakistan has got the opportunity to play a decisive role regarding resolution of Kashmir issue? As this opportunity has hit us after a long time because in the past, the foreign policy of Pakistan was not clear on some issues. Secondly, do you think that the issue of Kashmir has been pushed aside amidst tensions between Iran and Israel?
Spokesperson: About the first part of your question regarding Indian aggression, you are very well aware of how events unfolded. Pakistan adopted a measured and responsible approach to Indian aggression. We resolutely defended our country. In accordance with international law which provides us with right of self defence, we responded adequately. And in terms of our preference for dialogue, diplomacy and peace, we agreed to a ceasefire which was brokered and facilitated by the United States of America. We believe the peaceful route of diplomacy offers stability, and peace in the region. This is what we continue to emphasize.
About the second question on Kashmir, our long standing and historical position remains unchanged. It is the Kashmir issue which remains at the heart of the problems which bedevil peace and security in South Asia. And we firmly believe that peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, in line with the UN Security Council resolutions, offers the best route to bring about peace and stability in South Asia.
(Anas Mallick, Capital TV): What does Pakistan have to say and how does Pakistan look at the talks held between the Iranian Foreign Minister, the British Foreign Minister, British Foreign Secretary, and the French counterpart in Geneva. Similarly, are we expecting a meeting between the Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and the Iran Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the OIC meeting of the Foreign Ministers to be held in Istanbul? Lastly, with regards to India, there are reports that the Indian body for Sikhs have barred Indian Sikh pilgrims from coming into Pakistan for the anniversary of Guru Arjun Dev, what is Pakistan's take on the matter?
Spokesperson: About the first part of the question, we have been a firm supporter and advocate of diplomacy, so, we welcome and support any step which promotes de-escalation of tensions and diplomacy.
About DPM's bilateral meetings on the margins of OIC Foreign Ministers' meeting, we will share with you the details once they are finalized.
Your last question is an important question. We are ready to receive the pilgrims who annually visit different holy sites in Pakistan on various occasions under a bilateral protocol between Pakistan and India on visit to religious shrines. We remain committed to full implementation of this protocol. As for the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Arjun Dev Ji, no visa application was filed with Pakistan High Commission, New Delhi, though we were ready to receive the pilgrims. It is worth mentioning that Indian pilgrims also visit Pakistan on the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. This year, the event is scheduled to start from 22 June 2025, as per past practice. We would be glad to welcome the Pilgrims if they wish to visit Pakistan.
(Zeeshan Yousafzai, Dunya TV): Sir, IAEA has verified yesterday that 2 Iranian nuclear facilities and their research centers have been attacked. Your comments on that.
If we see Netanyahu's statements, he always says that Iran is very close to producing atomic bomb but actually it is not. Need your comments on that as well.
Secondly, it is being alleged in the news that Pakistan is going to purchase stealth mode technology fighters J-35 from China. Is it true?
Spokesperson: Sir, with regards to Israel's attacks on Iran's two nuclear facilities, it has been articulated at multiple levels very clearly, and the joint statement by 20 Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries clearly stipulates that it is a clear violation of international law to attack nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards. And we condemn it.
Coming to second part of your question, defense cooperation between Pakistan and China is ongoing. It is a very important component of multifaceted Pakistan China relations, which are based on trust, mutual confidence, and most importantly rooted in the hearts of their people. Pakistan China relationship, which is more than seven decades old, is robust and strong. China has been Pakistan's unwavering friend, supporter and a partner, and we believe Pakistan China relations contributes to regional stability. About the specifics of Defense Cooperation Agreement, I will refer you to the Ministry of Defense.
(Tahir Khan, NNI News Agency): I hope you would not refer my question to others. My question is, was there any civilian or Pakistan Ambassador to the US present in the meeting between the Field Marshal and the American president? Because we have seen some social media post and even the Interior Minister was not in the meeting. And are we a democratic country?
Spokesperson: The second part of the question is an unambiguous yes. And again, with the first question, I can't help but refer you to ISPR for the details.
(Shaukat Piracha, AAJ NEWS): You referred us to ISPR statement. But my question is about what President Trump talked about and my question has three parts.
Number one, President Trump said that it is his honour to host lunch for Field Marshal. In diplomatic terms, when a Head of State says that this is my honour, is it a courtesy, or does it have certain implications?
Secondly, President Trump said that Pakistanis understand Iran better. What this infers? Whether he is seeking some role from Pakistan that since you understand Iran better, play some role.
Thirdly, again from President Trump's statement is that Pakistanis are feeling bad about whatever is happening here in this region. Whether Pakistani delegation expressed their concern or their displeasure, and in response to that did the President make such comments?
Spokesperson: Courtesy is fundamental to human interaction, and most important for diplomatic interactions. So these words matter. They are positive words, first of all. Secondly, Pakistan obviously understands Iran better. Iran is a neigbouring country and we have very rich relationship with Iran based on common language, culture and history.
About the third part of the question, ISPR statement is available. Pakistan's authoritative position is conveyed in the Foreign Ministry's statement, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar's, statement in the Senate. So you put two and two together, you can understand what must have been conveyed by our side, our concerns. About whether a role is to be envisaged to Pakistan, I cannot comment on that at this point. But what we can say is, we condemn what Israel is doing in Iran. It is in violation of all rules of civilized behavior, interstate relation, international law and international humanitarian law. This is very clear. We prefer and are open to support any diplomatic effort which can lead to the de-escalation and restoration of peace.
(Muhammad Saleh Zaafir, Jang News): Thank you Sir. Sir, in the outset, you have very rightly condemned Israel for escalation against Iran. Since Pakistan has held interaction with Iran. What does Iran say? Is Tehran satisfied about the role of Pakistan? And may I ask that, if given a chance, is Pakistan prepared to play a mediatory role to stop this ongoing nonsense war?
Spokesperson: First of all, our position remains unambiguous in condemning what is happening there and our complete moral, diplomatic, political support is with Iran. There is no ambiguity in our position. About whether Iran is satisfied or not, this question may be addressed to the Iranian side. Iran is our friend, our neighbour, our brother, and our position is unambiguous in this regard. And any role to play at this point is speculative, but what I can say is, in terms of Pakistan's policy, we support diplomacy. We want this madness to end, this attack and this aggression against Iran to end.
(Asghar Ali Mubarak, The Daily Mail International): The way Iran - Israel war has started and the way Donald Trump played a role in Pakistan - India mediation , he stated 15 times that he stopped the escalation leading to a nuclear war between two nuclear armed nations. Indian Foreign Secretary stated that a 35 minutes call was held between U.S. President and Indian President and during the call India refused to accept the U.S's role as mediator in the India-Pakistan conflict on which the US's official replied that "we cannot force a country towards mediation". What are your comments?
Spokesperson: For us what is happening in Iran is a very serious issue. It imperils the entire regional and global security structure and impacts us deeply. And right now, obviously the focus is to find an amicable solution and to stop the Israeli aggression against Iran.
The issues of Pakistan and India are there and they are not going to go away. If India even closes its eyes to the reality, it's not going away because of that.
About the second part regarding US role, whatever India continues to say, they should face the reality. The US' role was unmistakable, and a very positive role in de-escalating the situation and reaching the ceasefire between the two countries. We acknowledge, with much appreciation, the positive role played by the US. India can find an alternate reality or alternate facts. I really cannot comment on that. But everyone knows, what happened, and how the crisis was de-escalated and diffused.
(Anwar Abbass, 24 News): I want to know, as we have old strong, brotherly and heartly relations with the US, in case of US aggression on Iran, are we going to condemn it? Do you intent to give a message to the US government on this matter?
Spokesperson: This is a speculative question so I won't comment on that.
(Aijaz Ahmed, GNN): Yesterday, Russian Foreign Ministry commented in which it indicated that there were efforts made to manipulate IAEA report regarding Iran and efforts were made to put forward anti-Iran resolution. What are your comments on this? Secondly, keeping in view the previous question, what are Pakistan's reports? Does Iran meet out IAEA safeguards and conditions or did it violate them? If it is not violating, then how Pakistan see these efforts?
Spokesperson: About IAEA-Iran interaction, what I can tell you is, it is a long process which has been going on. Iran has remained engaged. At no point we have seen a rupture in IAEA-Iran interaction. We have not seen Iran saying we are not going to cooperate with IAEA. Iran's cooperation with IAEA has continued. As I said earlier, we supported throughout JCPOA and its revival. Diplomatic track should be strengthened. Diplomacy should be given a chance. This has been our position.
(Sardar Amer Hussain, Daily Maddar): Netanyahu declared two enemies of Israel: Iran and Pakistan. Where does Pakistan stand? Does it stand with Iran or in between with Israel? Number two; many Pakistani students are trapped on Pak-Iran border for last two days. What is being done for them, how they will be transported to Pakistan?
Spokesperson: About the first question, I think you have not read the Foreign Ministry statements, so I do not know how to respond. Our support to Iran is fundamental to our position. It is unequivocal and unambiguous, in support of Iran, condemning Israeli actions against Iran. There is no ambiguity there. So, I mean, I do not see how the question arises of Pakistan being on Israeli side. This is inconceivable for any Pakistani or the government for that matter.
And secondly, about specific question about the students, as I have mentioned to you, so far, 3000 Pakistani nationals have moved to Pakistan. It is an ongoing process. There are logistical challenges at times they come up, but we are working together with the Iranian authorities to resolve them. And I must again underline, once again, our appreciation for all the help and assistance extended by the Iranian authorities, and also all the hard work done by our consulates in Zahedan, Mashad and our Embassy in Tehran. We have a sizable Pakistani community in Iran. There are various categories. There are students, there are Zaireen, there are businessmen, there are Pakistanis, a lot of Pakistanis who are married and living there for years, for example, who have families there. So anyone who wants to come, he or she is being assisted to move to Pakistani side.
(Namrah Sohail, PTV): Thank you, Mr. Spokesperson. Sir, India has recently notified Ladakh Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Amendment Regulation 2025. So amongst other things, the new regulation allows the non-locals to obtain domicile certificates under certain conditions. What are your comments on this development?
Spokesperson: The latest regulations are part of a series of illegal and unilateral actions which India has been taking since 5th August, 2019. Our position on all these measures has been very clear. We have consistently maintained that these measures are, inter alia, aimed at changing the demographic structure of the occupied territory, in violation of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and international law, including the 4th Geneva Convention, these measures must be revoked.
(Naveed Siddiqui, Business Recorder): Sir has Iran requested for any security and diplomatic assistance, and if this conflict gets longer and longer would Pakistan be prepared to host and receive Irani refugees if formally requested by Iran? Thank you.
Spokesperson: For details about security assistance, I would refer you to Defence Ministry, but Foreign Ministry is not aware of any request. We also have not received any request for hosting refugees.
(Kosar Lodhi, Waqat Magazine): Thank you very much, Mr. Spokesperson. Sir, due to the kindness of Trump, these questions are emerging in the mind. Does USA want any extra favor from Pakistan in Middle East tension like Afghanistan?
Spokesperson: Well, given the strong relations or multifaceted relation with the US, we have a full agenda of interaction and cooperation with the United States, regional issues, security issues, all of these are part of it. So I do not know how to characterize or define a special favor. There is no special favor. Any two states try to find common ground, and they try to help each other in the spirit of amity, cooperation and friendship.
(Sumaira Khan, Samma TV): Thank you very much for the opportunity for questions, sir. If you have not responded to this question already, then I will repose it. Did we receive any rescheduled dates for the conference that was supposed to held this week in New York, with the coordination of United Nation over there. And if it is happening when it is happening?
Secondly, in Iran's case, Pakistan is a very vocal and independently, Pakistan is openly siding and it is everywhere diplomatically for Iran. But as far as the rumors are concerned and social media campaigns are concerned, are we in a position to issue any such statement that we are in defense realms not cooperating at all with Iran right now?
Spokesperson: About the first part of the question, I need to check; you are right that two state solution conference was postponed, but I need to check with my Multilateral Affairs Division about any new dates, whether they have been agreed or not, or what are the dates I will communicate it to you.
About the second part of the question, first of all, social media is a good source of information, but also a very potent source of disinformation. You know a piece of disinformation for example a post or a video getting viral that does not create new facts. So it is better to stick to the objective facts, and whatever the media says, our position is unambiguous. And when we take a clear position condemning the aggression against Iran, we stand with law. We stand with our friend and a partner, our neighbour, which is Islamic Republic of Iran. About the defense realm, I would refer you to the Ministry of Defense.
(Shahzad Hassan Mirza, Daily Media): Field Marshal Asim Munir is in America for official visit on US President's visit. Did Prime Minister or the Foreign Ministry receive any invitation or meeting and why process of IFRP has slowed down?
Spokesperson: About the second question, I do not agree with your assessment. The return of Afghan refugees is proceeding smoothly. There is no let up in that. And last time, the Deputy Prime Minister paid very successful visit to Kabul. There were some issues which were raised. We had taken remedial action, including establishing hotline. All of those things have been immediately implemented. It is proceeding smoothly.
About the second question right now there is, we do not have anything on the horizon immediately, but if we have a date or any possibility of a visit, I will share it with you.
(Almas Haider Naqvi, Dunya News Paper): Thank you very much, Shafqat Sahab. Sir, Pakistan has extended its moral and political support towards Iran. My question is, fall of Tehran or intensification of this conflict has in its strategic implication for Pakistan. So would you like to explain whether Pakistan have any sort of intentions to support Iran militarily?
Spokesperson: Okay, about the second part of the question, concerning military, as I said, primarily you should address it to Ministry of Defense. But what I can tell you is that our support to Iran is clear in terms of our diplomatic position. As far as the Foreign Ministry is concerned, we have not received any specific request for military support from Iran.
Thank you very much.
