Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Meets Foreign Minister of People's Republic of China in Hong Kong

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with the member of Political Bureau of Communist Party of China and Foreign Minister of People's Republic of China, Wang Yi, in Hong Kong, Special Administrative Region of China, today. This is the second meeting between the two Foreign Ministers in 10 days.
The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the successful signing ceremony of the Convention establishing International Organization for Mediation (IOMed). Foreign Minister Wang Yi thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for attending the signing ceremony.
Noting with satisfaction implementation of the decisions taken by the two leaders during their last interaction in China, the two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues. Reaffirming their commitment to the iron-clad friendship and all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China, both sides agreed to build on the existing momentum to further fortify bilateral relations and exchanges.
