Pakistan’s 14-member interim cabinet takes oath

ISLAMABAD, April 3, IRNA -- A 14-member Pakistan’s interim cabinet took oath on Tuesday in Islamabad, officials said.

President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to the members of the caretaker cabinet at a ceremony at the Presidency.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso and senior officials.

Members of the cabinet are: Malik Habib‚ Ahmer Bilal Soofi‚ Dr. Musaddaq Malik‚ Arif Nizami‚ Sohail Wajahat H. Siddique‚ Shahzada Ahsan Ashraf‚ Maqbool H.H. Rahmatoola‚ Abdul Malik Kasi‚ Asad Ullah Mandokhel‚ Mir Hassan Dhomki‚ Dr. Sania Nishtar‚ Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel‚ Dr. Younis Soomro and Shahzada Jamal.

Portfolios of the ministers will be announced later.

The cabinet will perform until the transition to the new government after the May 11 parliamentary elections.
