Blast leaves 10 dead in NW Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 20, IRNA -- At least ten people were killed while 22 others injured including women and children in a blast in the North Western Pakistan on Wednesday, police said.
According to police the blast occurred in Badaber area on the outskirts of Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The bomb which was placed in a car exploded near Scheme Chowk located on Kohat road.
Six shops located in the area have been destroyed as the result of the blast.
Police and the bomb disposal squad have arrived at the site of the blast. Injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.
No group has yet claimed responsibility of the attack; however, the authorities blame militants for such attacks.
