IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Islamabad, Nov. 15, IRNA -- At least four people were killed in a US drone strike in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday, security sources said.
The spy aircraft targeted a compound in North Waziristan tribal region, bordering Afghanistan.
Two missiles were fired near Miranshah, the center of North Waziristan, where the Pakistani forces dynamited a 5-storey building after two rockets were fired last week.
Locals said that they saw smoke coming out of the house after the strike.
Taliban militants alter arrived at the scene and pulled out of the bodies.
There was no information about the identity of those killed in the strike.
The US officials claim that suspected militants are hiding in the region and also launch cross border attacks into Afghanistan from there.
