3 die in roadside bomb in NW Pakistan

Islamabad, April 11, IRNA -- A roadside bomb hit a passengers van and killed at least three people in northwest Pakistan on Monday, state television reported.
The attack in the restive Kurram tribal region also injured 8 other people, PTV reported.
The injured were transferred to hospital in Parachinar, a main town in the tribal agency, police said. Doctors said several injured were registered critical.
The van was heading to Parachinar when came under attack at Kazaki area.
No group claimed responsibility for the blast.
Police sources described the incident as sectarian. The area has witnessed several deadly sectarian attacks in the past.
Security forces rushed to the site and launched search operation in the area, locals said.
