Pakistan Bomb Kills At Least 10
March 31, 2011
Reports from northwestern Pakistan say a roadside bomb struck a convoy carrying a leading Islamist politician, killing at least 10 people and wounding 20 others.
The attack took place in Charsadda district of the Khyber tribal region when the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl party, Maulana Fazal Rehman, was passing through a busy street.
He escaped the attack unharmed.
On March 30, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives when Rehman was about to reach a political rally, killing some 10 people.
