Blast near mosque kills 10 in Pakistan

Islamabad, Aug 23,IRNA -- At least 10 people were killed and scores others were injured in a bomb attack near a mosque in Pakistan’s South Waziristan tribal region on Monday, witnesses said.
They believed that a bomber blew himself up at the gate of a mosque and adjacent to a seminary at Wana, the center of South Waziristan, a local correspondent Zafar Wazir told IRNA on phone.
The seminary was run by former member of the National Assembly Maulana Noor Mohammad, who belongs to Jamiat ulema-e-Islam party
