10 dead, twenty-five injured in two bomb explosions in Lahore

Islamabad, Dec 8, IRNA -- At least 10 people were killed and over 40 others seriously injured including women and children in 2 bomb explosions in Moon Market, Iqbal Town, Lahore Monday evening.
According to a senior superintendent of the police, Shafique Gujar, 10 persons were declared dead and the body parts of the people have been scattered in the area.
Rescue 1122 and Edhi Welfare Team have reached the area and shifted the bodies and the injured persons to nearby hospitals.
The terror explosions' fires engulfed the nearby buildings. Vehicles in the area were badly damaged in the incident and power was shut off. The fire brigade tried to put out the fire for hours after the blasts.
