MOSCOW, October 28 (RIA Novosti) - At least 90 people have been killed and another 150 injured in a blast in a Pakistani market on Wednesday, CNN has reported.

The Peshawar blast also destroyed a mosque, and a building collapsed during a rescue operation, Pakistan's The News said.

Police fear the death toll could rise as several people are still trapped under the debris.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has denounced the bombing and expressed his "heartfelt grief" for the victims, the Pakistani paper said.

The explosion came at a time when U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Islamabad earlier on Wednesday for a three-day visit to Pakistan.

In a briefing with reporters on the flight to Islamabad, Clinton said her trip would expand cooperation with Pakistan beyond the military sphere, and she stressed that she would be reaching out to the country's broadly anti-American public with extensive media engagements.
