Roadside bomb attack in Pakistan kills three soldiers: army

Islamabad,March 30,IRNA - A roadside bomb attack Monday killed three Pakistani soldiers in the country’s northwest, the army said.
The army said that an explosive-laden car was parked on road and was exploded when an army convoy was passing through near the city of Bannu in North West Frontier Province.
“As many as three security personnel were killed while four others injured in a roadside blast in Baqa Khel area of Bannu on Monday,” an army statement said.
According to the army, before the mid-day a security forces convey was on a move from Bannu to Mansehra city, when it reached the scene a car ladden with explosive material parked along the road went off.
The injured were evacuated to a nearby Military Hospital, the statement said.
