Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Tuesday urged President Pervez Musharraf to say 'goodbye' to power as the people have given verdict against him.

Speaking at a press conference Sharif ruled out any concession to President Musharraf as the people of Pakistan have rejected his supporters in the February 18 elections.

"It would be one of my top priorities to rid the country of dictatorship," he said. He urged all political parties to unite to defeat dictatorship.

He said that the judiciary, after the restoration of sacked judges, would decide whether or not Musharraf was competent to stand for presidential elections in army uniform.

"We have agreement with Pakistan Peoples Party on the restoration of judiciary and we are sincerely supporting the party," he said.

He said members-elect of his PML-N, PPP and Awami National Party, will meet in Islamabad on Wednesday to show strength to President Musharraf.

The PML-N leader again demanded convening the National Assembly session to elect leader of the House.

Sharif admitted that the new government will face many challenges but the new government will show strong determination to deal with the situation.
