Benazir Bhutto laid to rest

Hundreds of thousands of people attended funeral of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated on Thursday.
Benazir was buried near the grave of her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at the village of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in Sindh province.
The coffin was wrapped in the tri-color flag of Pakistan Peoples Party.
Asif Ali Zardari, Benazir's husband was going along with the coffin.
Benazir Bhutto was killed after she addressed a huge political rally in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
Many people were weeping and beating chest during the funeral.
A large number of Peoples Party leaders also attended the funeral.
Benazir killing sparked countrywide protest, which resulted into the killing of more than 10 people over the last 24 hours.
Benazir dead body was taken from Rawalpindi in a military C-130 plane last night and was shifted to her home district of Larkana in Sindh.
Pakistani government on Friday ordered inquiry into the attack on Benazir Bhutto.
More than 20 people were also killed in the suicide attack on Benazir Bhutto.
The assassin first opened fire at Benazir and later blew himself up near his bullet-proof car.
The Peoples Party has called upon the Pakistani government to undertake an independent and transparent investigation into Bhutto's assassination and inform Bhutto family and the party.
Between October 18, when Bhutto returned to Pakistan ending eight years of exile and her death, she repeatedly accused Pakistani government officials of conspiring to kill her.
There had been strong condemnation of Bhutto's assassination across the world and in the country.
