Pakistan air force fighter aircraft crashes

A fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed in the country's eastern Punjab province, the PAF said.
The Chinese-made F-7 fighter aircraft was on a operational training mission, when it crashed near Samundri, a PAF statement said.
The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely, it said.
No loss of life or property has been reported on ground.
The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction, according to the statement.
A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of accident, it said.
