Qadeer Khans' daughter denies Musharraf's claims

President Musharraf in his book "In The Line Of Fire" had stated that Dr A. Q. Khan had asked his daughter to transfer nuclear secrets through a British journalist.
Veena Khan, daughter of A. Q. Khan, has issued the first ever statement since his father detention in 2004, saying the statement has been issued to clarify the position.
Veena in a statement said that the letter was written for her mother, in which he had explained whatever, in fact, had happened, according to the BBC Urdu website.
She said the letter was written that if anything happened to her father, so she could issue the details.
Dr Shafiq, a colleague of Dr A.Q.Khan endorsed the statement of Veena Khan about nuclear secrets, adding that there was no mention of nuclear secrets in Qadeer Khan's letter.
Veena Khan said that the letter has disclosed as to how all developments had taken place.
She said her father had written to her mother to make all the details public if he is killed or disappeared.
She said that people and places have been mentioned in the letter but not nuclear secrets.
She added that British secret agency M5 had also questioned her but she was satisfied that she had not committed any crime.
Veena said that his father is facing difficulties because of his policy to talk about the people in the corridors of power.
She said that her sister was not allowed to meet her parents for several months and she was not allowed to travel to Pakistan for one year.
She said that her mail had been censored, telephones bugged and residence was being monitored.
