Pakistan tests fire ballistic missiles

The Pakistan-developed short-range Haft-II Abdali missile can hit target at the range of 200 km, it added.
President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test.
"The Abdali SSM, which can reach targets up to 200 km (120 miles), can carry nuclear and other types of warheads," the statement said.
"All planned technical parameters were validated," it said adding that the missile is the latest in Pakistan's arsenal of nuclear- capable weapons.
