The Senate of Pakistan will hold a two-hour debate on the recent American attack on a Bajaur Agency locality in the tribal belt on Wednesday.
This was decided in a joint treasury and opposition parties meeting before the upper house of the Parliament met for the opening day of its 26th session here on Friday morning.
For a debate, five opposition senators, including Opposition Leader Mian Raza Rabbani, Ishaq Dar, Asfandyar Wali and Farhautllah Babar had already filed an adjournment motion with the Senate last Sunday.
The lower house of the Parliament witnessed noisy scenes on the issue, which left at least 18 innocent civilians, including a dozen women and children, when US struck the locality.
Some opposition leaders, even called for reviewing Pak policy towards the US and withdrawal of Pakistan's ambassador to US Jehangir Karamat.
Pakistan summoned the US ambassador to the Foreign Office and lodged protest on the issue.
