Pakistan fighter plane crashes, pilot safe

A French-made Mirage fighter plane of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed on Thursday in southern Sindh province, a PAF spokesman said.
"I can only confirm that a PAF aircraft has crashed near Badin," Spokesman Air Commodore Sarfaraz Khan said.
Badin is located about 300 kilometers northeast of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province.
Khan said the plane's pilot had ejected safely and there were no reports immediately on any injuries on the ground.
