Pakistan protests with India over border violation

Pakistan on Monday lodged a strong protest with India over the violation of Line of Control (LoC) in Kola Sector and abduction of a civilian in Village Kundi in Azad Kashmir and unprovoked firing by the Indian troops.
"The Director General Military Operations spoke to his Indian counterpart and protested over this intrusion. He demanded the initiation of an inquiry over this violation and immediate return of the abductee," Foreign Office said in a statement.
"It was emphasized that such unprovoked incidents were against the spirit of the ongoing peace process. The leadership of Pakistan and India were committed to the resolution of all outstanding issues including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute through peaceful means," the statement added.
"The Indian government must ensure against the recurrence of such incidents, Foreign Office said.
