US jets violate Pak airspace: daily

Islamabad, Dec 14, IRNA - The US planes violated Pakistan`s airspace at North Waziristan Agency, close to Pak-Afghan border. The News reported in its Tuesday issue that the planes violated Pak airspace thrice during the last 24 hours. Two US planes entered Pakistan`s airspace at Lowara Mandai. According to the daily, the intrusion of US planes caused waves of fears among the local people amid some rumors hat it might be part of a new military operation in the region to hunt down militants . From time to time, reports of Pak airspace violation by US planes and copters have been appearing in the media. Pakistan government says it had taken up this matter with US officials.
