President Musharraf accepts clemency appeal of Dr.A Q Khan
RAWALPINDI, Feb 5 (APP): President General Pervez Musharraf
has accepted the clemency appeal of Dr. A.Q.Khan for his
involvement in nuclear proliferation, following the recommendation
of the Federal Cabinet.
President Musharraf said, "no Pakistani government or Army
has ever been involved in any kind of proliferation".
It was purely an act done by some individuals, the President
said while addressing a media conference also attended by editors
and columnists here on Thursday.
