Pakistan`s defence made impregnable: Musharraf
IRNA
Islamabad, Sept 6, IRNA -- Pakistan`s President General Pervez Musharraf said on Saturday the nation`s defence has been made "impregnable", official APP news agency reported. "Our armed forces are ever ready to thwart any aggressive design of the enemy," he said in his message on the occasion of Sept. 6 -- Defence of Pakistan Day. The `Defence of Pakistan Day` is also a day for introspection, the president said, adding that over the years the nation`s defence has been made "impregnable". "I would also like to reiterate on this occasion that Pakistan is a peace-loving country and harbours no aggressive designs against any other country," he added. "Our defence strategy is one of minimum credible deterrence in the conventional and unconventional means, which has been quantified in terms of comparative strength, equipment and force levels." He said Pakistan will continue to contribute positively toward world peace." /TSH/210 End
