Pakistan has not signed CTBT : Munir

NEW YORK, Sept 21 (APP): Pakistan's Permanent Representative in Geneva Munir Akram on Sunday, categorically said Pakistan has not signed the Comprehensve Test Ban Treaty (CTBT). Talking to reporters at a background briefing here, he refuted the resports carried in a section of the press in this regard. Akram said CTBT is not on the agenda of the talks Pakistan is holding with the United States, Britain and France for the last many years on issues of disarmament. Pakistan has a very clear approach about peaca and security in South Asia and intends to develop a, "nuclear restraint regime," for the conflict resolution including the core issue of Kashmir, he said.
