Prime Minister Takaichi and U.S. President Trump's Visit to U.S. Aircraft Carrier "George Washington"

1. On 28th October, commencing at 3.45 p.m. for approximately 45 minutes, Ms. Sanae TAKAICHI, Prime Minister of Japan, along with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, visited the aircraft carrier USS George Washington in Yokosuka.
2. Prime Minister Takaichi and President Trump made remarks to encourage the members of the Self-Defense Forces and the U.S. Forces in Japan. Prime Minister Takaichi stated that she is determined to ensure a Free and Open Indo-Pacific and to make it the foundation of peace and prosperity in the region, while elevating the Japan-U.S. Alliance, already the greatest alliance in the world, to even greater heights, together with President Trump.
