ARROW Missile Test Hailed a Success
Today's AL HAMISHMAR reports that the seventh flight test of
the ARROW anti-missile missile system was carried out
successfully yesterday morning. In the test, the ARROW
intercepted and destroyed a surrogate tactical ballistic missile.
AL HAMISHMAR reports that Israel Aircraft Industries, which
developed the ARROW, and American officials invited to
attend the event, expressed much satisfaction over the
success of the flight test. According to the report, this was the
last test of the ARROW 1, with subsequent tests to be carried
out using the more advanced ARROW 2 model.
