Settlers 'clueless' about accuracy of Iranian missiles, scale of destruction: Israeli media

Days after the Israeli regime declared a unilateral ceasefire, Israeli media outlets say settlers are still clueless about the devastating impact of Iranian missiles and the scale of damage they caused across the occupied territories.

Speaking on Israeli Channel 13 on Thursday, Raviv Drucker, an Israeli journalist and political commentator, pointed to the precision of Iranian missiles that hit the occupied territories as Iran retaliated to the imposed war of aggression.

The analyst said the missile and drone barrages targeted military and strategic infrastructure across the occupied territories, which settlers are unaware of, owing to strict media censorship.

"There were a lot of missiles that hit the IDF (Israeli occupation military) bases as well as strategic sites that we still don't report about to this day," he said in a rare admission.

He cited the attack on the Mossad-affiliated Weizmann Institute as one of the few cases that settlers know about, as it was widely reported by foreign media outlets and appeared on social media.

The media blackout, Drucker pointed out, created a "situation where people don't realize how precise the Iranians were and how much damage they caused in many places."

"We just know about the Weizmann Institute; there are many places we don't know about," he said.

The Israeli regime launched an all-out aggression on Iranian soil on June 13, targeting various military and nuclear sites and assassinating many top-ranking military commanders and nuclear scientists, as well as ordinary civilians.

The Iranian armed forces, in response, pounded the regime and its military and industrial infrastructure, using new-generation missiles that hit the designated targets with precision.

After 12 days, the Tel Aviv regime was forced to declare a unilateral ceasefire in a deal proposed by Washington to prevent further blows from Iranian missiles.

Due to strict media censorship enforced by the Israeli military, foreign journalists have been barred from reporting on damage to sensitive sites, and access to satellite imagery has been limited.

However, evidence emerged that Iran's retaliatory attacks hit sites such as the Kirya (Israel's ministry of military affairs headquarters), Camp Moshe Dayan (an intelligence operations hub), Tel Nof and Ovda Air Bases, and the interior ministry building.

Furthermore, strikes targeted infrastructure, including the Bazan Oil Refinery, Haifa and Hadera power stations, Ashdod Power Plant, Ben Gurion Airport, and the Weizmann Institute of Science.

The Weizmann Institute reportedly incurred $570 million in damage, and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange building was also struck. Iran's final barrage involved 14 ballistic missiles targeting additional military and logistical sites.

The full extent of the damage across the occupying regime remains unclear due to Israel's strict information blackout.
