Coordinator for the Captives and Missing Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Gal Hirsch, today, held a discussion with a forum of the directors general of government ministries and relevant public agencies, including the National Insurance Institute, the Tax Authority and the Immigration and Population Authority. The forum was updated on the situation regarding the captives and missing and how their families are being treated with the leading factor being a supporting the resilience of the families. The support includes - inter alia - monthly financial assistance and a basket of additional social services that is being given to the families immediately by the National Insurance Institute, the Health Ministry and the Welfare and Social Affairs Ministry.
Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Hirsch thanked everyone for the cooperation and their full and quick enlistment and said [translated from Hebrew]: "The State of Israel is providing comprehensive government assistance and support for the families at this difficult time of uncertainty until the mission is complete: All captives are returned and all missing are located."
