Statement from the Prime Minister's Office
Israel - Prime Minister's Office
The 37th Government
16.10.2023
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO), this morning:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived yesterday (Sunday, 15 October 2023), to the visit with families of the captive and missing. Coordination for the visit was carried out by the PMO and a representative of the families. During the visit, several families, which represented themselves as families whose loved ones had been abducted, came to the site and asked to be admitted. Their request was approved and they joined the meeting.
Nobody from the PMO had any prior familiarity with the individuals and hints to the effect that they had been 'planted' are mendacious, shocking, outrageous and unacceptable.
