SUBJECT: POSSIBLE IRAQI RADIOLOGICAL WEAPONS

1. FRAGMENTARY INFORMATION ABOUT THE IRAQIS POSSIBLY
HAVING RADIOLOGICAL WEAPONS:
--IN 1988, IRAQ REPORTEDLY TESTED AN AIR-DROPPED BOMB THAT
CONTAINED RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS BUT WAS NOT AN ATOMIC BOMB.
CONVERSATION
TOUCHED UPON A POTENTIAL US ARMED CONFLICT WITH IRAQ
STATED THAT, EVEN IF IRAQ CURRENTLY DOES NOT POSSESS A
NUCLEAR WEAPON IN THE FORM OF A BOMB, IT MAY HAVE OTHER
TYPES OF DELIVERY SYSTEMS THAT COULD DIRECT ôNUCLEAR
