Suicide attack on ballot boxes injures 14 in Kirkuk

Baghdad, July 1, IRNA -- According to a military source in Kirkuk, twin suicide attacks on a building for storing ballot boxes injured 14 security forces on Sunday in the city of Kirkuk, Iraq.
After firing rocket-propelled grenade toward security forces, the terrorists detonated a bomb-laden car in the area, the military sources told local media.
The explosion did not damage ballot boxes, he added.
Some media reports suggested killing of 3 people in the accident.
Official sources have not yet verified the news.
