IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA -- Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Sunday that disintegration of Iraq is deemed as red-line for Iran, Turkey and Iraq.
Highlighting latest developments in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, he said the fourth round of talks in the parliament commission was held on Sunday to review the latest development in that region.
Required coordination and arrangement has been made between Iran, Turkey and Iraq to help resolve the issue in the Iraqi Kurdistan district, Boroujerdi said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran under no circumstances recognizes referendum in the Iraqi Kurdistan region; the senior Iranian lawmaker said, adding that through close cooperation between Iran and Iraq the former situation should be prevailed to meet the region's interests.
