Speaking in an exclusive interview with IRNA, Commander of Iraqi Counterterrorism Brigade Major General Abdulwahhab al-Saedi, said that the second phase of the liberation operation for Nineveh Governorate in northern Iraq is currently underway.

He ruled out rumors about the presence of foreign troopes including US forces in Mosul liberation operation.

The commander said that Iraqi forces have fully liberated the neighborhoods in eastern Mosul and that they are currently advancing towards other neighborhoods.
