Iraqi Kurdistan region seeking reconciliatiion with Iraqi gov't

Tehran, Oct 19, IRNA -- Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan's Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani said on Monday that the regional administration is seeking reconciliation with the Iraqi central government.
Barzani made the remarks during a meeting in Tehran with Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani.
Barzani thanked the Iranian government for support to the Iraqi Kurdistan region.
Barzani said that the officials and people of Iraqi Kurdistan autonomous administration will never forget the generous services and support of their Iranian brothers during the toughest times.
Underlining Iraqi Kurdistan government's resolve to fight Takfiri terrorists, Barzani said that currently the security situation in Iraqi Kurdistan autonomous region is satisfactory.
He said that despite problems caused by the presence of Iraqi and Syrian refugees and the falls in oil prices, the Iraqi Kurdistan region is making good economic and social progress.
