Over 70 Daesh terrorists killed in Iraq

Tehran, June 28, IRNA -- Iraqi official sources announced that 76 members of the terrorist Daesh group have been killed in the assault of Iraqi forces in Haditha, Baqubah and Mosul areas.
According to al-Watan al-Youm website, Brigadier General Zul Nun al-Badrani said on Saturday that 27 members of Daesh were killed in two separate incidents in Mosul, 400 km north of Baghdad.
Sources close to the Iraqi police said 23 Daesh terrorists were killed and 10 more injured in Baqubah, 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
Meanwhile, Aljezeera and al-Badiyah operations command announced that 26 Daesh members were killed in the heavy artillery attacks on the gathering site of the members of the terrorist group in the city of Haditha in al-Anbar Province.
The Iraqi army in recent months has been able to gain victories with the help of volunteers and tribes to purge some cities of the terrorists.
The Takfiri-Daesh group which has been created with the support of the West and US allies has committed dreadful crimes in Syria and Iraq. The group by occupying certain areas has so far killed thousands of people and made hundred thousands of others homeless.
