February 11, 2013
Iraqi officials say gunmen have killed four people in the northern city of Mosul.
In one attack, gunmen fired at a security checkpoint in the center of the city early on February 10, killing two policemen.
Later on February 10, gunmen killed an off-duty soldier at a car repair shop in Mosul.
In a third attack that targeted a van carrying oil workers, one oil worker was killed.
Meanwhile, a bomb exploded on the roof of an Iraqi satellite television channel's offices in the Kurdish city of Sulaimaniyah late on February 9 after the channel aired criticism of Mullah Mustafa Barzani, a revered Kurdish nationalist leader and the father of the Kurdish region's president Masoud Barzani.
