Iran, Iraq to set up technical committees on border demarcation

Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA -- Iran and Iraq have decided to set up technical committees on border demarcation both on the ground and at sea.
Iran border police commander Hossein Zolfaqari made the remarks in a joint meeting with Iraqi border officials in Khosravi International Border Terminal in Kermanshah province.
Commander Zolfaqari said that the two countries border officials should have close contacts, adding the establishment of special committees plays vital role to resolve the border disputes.
He also emphasized the need for border demarcation, voicing two sides willingness for holding regular meetings in this respect.
