American forces arrest Ammar Hakim in Iraq

American forces in Iraq arrested Ammar Hakim Friday morning while he was returning from Iran to his country.
Ammar Hakim is the son of Abdul Aziz al-Hakim who is the president of the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI).
According to IRNA's political desk, Hakim was arrested on the border area of Badre located in the border between Iran and Iraq.
Hakim is the Secretary General of Islamic Propagation Organization in Iraq.
According to the report, American soldiers stopped Hakim and his entourage and then disarmed his body guards and arrested them.
The Iraqi government and the SCIRI are trying to free Hakim and his body guards.
