Iran-Saddam-Hosseini
According to a report released by the Foreign Ministry, Hosseini underlined that Saddam had a dark record and dozens of crimes, murders and genocide of the oppressed and innocent nations of Iraq, Iran and Kuwait are just part of his file.
He urged the need for the public vigilance, and warned against providing ill-wishers with the chance to resort to pretexts and misuse the punishment of criminals to cause religious sensitivities and factional discords.
Concerning the status of Saddam's file and his crimes against Iran, the spokesman said, "We still expect the aggression of Saddam's regime against Iran and other regional countries to be investigated.
"Meanwhile, the inhuman approach of the Baathist regime as well as the material and spiritual losses inflicted on our nation need to be judged."
