Iran felicitates Iraq on constitution's approval

Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel here Saturday expressed felicitations to Iraqi National Assembly Speaker Hajim al-Hassani ont he approval of a new constitution for the country.
In his message, Haddad-Adel congratulated Al-Hassani for the enthusiastic presence of the Iraqi nation in the Iraq referendum on October 15, 2005 and their approval of the new constitution.
He expressed the hope that the approval of the constitution would be a step in the fulfillment of the goals and ideals of the people for peace, stability, full independence and a better life, adding that much depended on the continued enthusiasm of the people and efforts of members of the Iraqi National Assembly.
He wished success and progress for the Iraqi nation and MPs.
Haddad-Adel also said he hoped ties between Tehran and Baghdad would be further consolidated in the future.
