- Iraq Names Five Vacant Cabinet Seats, Amid Car Bombing VOA 07 May 2005 -- Iraq's new government has agreed on nominees for the five remaining seats in the cabinet, ending weeks of negotiations. Today's (Saturday's) announcement comes as twin car bombs exploded in Baghdad, killing 22 people, including two Americans.
