IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Najaf, Aug 13, IRNA -- Sources close to the Iraqi Shi`ite cleric Moqtada Sadr said here on Friday that contrary to media reports on Sadr`s health, he is now feeling good and that his wounds are not serious. Sheikh Ali Samim, a Sadr deputy, told IRNA that Sadr is keeping "very high morale" even though he has been wounded, and that he is still calling on his forces to continue resistance. Samim quoted Sadr as saying that he would continue resistance until there is a peaceful resolution. He confirmed that Sadr has been wounded in chest and his legs, adding that the cleric has been transferred to a safe place and has undergone treatment. 2330/1432
