GOVERNOR OF BASRA UNDER COALITION CONTROL

CAMP AS SAYLIYAH, Qatar - Walid Hamid Tawfiq al-Tikriti, the governor of Basrah, is now under Coalition control. He surrendered yesterday in Baghdad to the Iraqi National Congress. He is No. 44 on the U.S. Central Command 'Iraqi Top 55' list.
