1 SOLDIER KILLED, 1 INJURED IN BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE ROLLOVERS
TIKRIT, IRAQ - One soldier was killed and one injured yesterday when their Bradley Fighting Vehicles rolled over at a Coalition checkpoint here.
The injured soldier is currently listed as in stable condition.
The Bradleys, from the 4th Infantry Division, were part of a Quick Reaction Force called forward to assist soldiers at a Coalition checkpoint. The checkpoint had recently come under enemy fire. As the Bradley's were moving forward to assist with security at the checkpoint, two of the vehicles rolled over.
The soldier's names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The incident is currently under investigation.
