  • KISIK REFINERY ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY CENTCOM Release 13 Sept 2003-- Coalition forces have hired approximately 70 Iraqi citizens to begin cleaning the Kisik Oil Refinery under the supervision of soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), while employees of the Bayji Oil Company fix the facility's equipment.
  • COALITION HELPS RECONSTRUCT ROADS IN BAGHDAD CENTCOM Release 13 Sept 2003-- Coalition forces are working to make Baghdad city streets safer places to travel and a visible sign of progress in Iraq. The 354th Civil Affairs Brigade, an Army Reserve unit based in Riverdale, Md., and part of Task Force 1st Armored Division, recently assessed various road construction sites in Baghdad as part of their road maintenance program.
