Second Session of Iraqi Working Group Convenes in December

The second session of the Future of Iraq's Economic and Infrastructure
Working Group will convene December 2-3, 2002 in Washington, DC,
according to a notice sent to the press November 25 from the State
Department's Office of the Spokesman.
"At this session, the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern
Affairs will be hosting approximately 15 'Free Iraqis' for discussions
on economic policy, restoration of transportation, electricity, and
communications infrastructure, job creation, debt and reparations,
conversion of military industry to civilian uses, and foreign direct
investment," said the notice.

NOTICE TO THE PRESS
Future of Iraq, Economic and Infrastructure Working Group Meeting
The Department of State is pleased to announce that the second session
of the Future of Iraq's Economic and Infrastructure Working Group will
convene on December 2-3, 2002 at the Radisson Barcelo, 2121 P Street,
NW, Washington, DC.
At this session, the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs
will be hosting approximately 15 "Free Iraqis" for discussions on
economic policy, restoration of transportation, electricity, and
communications infrastructure, job creation, debt and reparations,
conversion of military industry to civilian uses, and foreign direct
investment.
