Any US adventure would foil: Tariq Aziz

Deputy Prime-Minister Tariq Aziz has stressed that any adventure conducted by the US administration against Iraq would be foiled.

This has come within a meeting with American ex- attorney general Minister Ramsy Clark and accompanying delegation whose currently visiting Iraq.

Aziz said that Iraq's people steadfastness would foil all imperialist schemes, referring to the glorious stations of struggle against colonialists' schemes in the Arab history.

For his part, Mr. Ramsy Clark has reiterated his supportive stance for Iraq's people struggle and steadfastness against these threats and for lifting the embargo off.

He pointed out that there are series of activities and actions would be implemented in the United States and other world countries against the US threats against Iraq, stressing that American and international public opinion have become changed and its views now against the US administration's offensive schemes.

Present at the meeting was Director of Foreign Relations' Bureau in Iraq's Regional Command at Arab Ba'ath Socialist Party (ABSP) Dr. Harith Al-Kheshali.
