US-British planes commit new crime |

American and British criminals
added to their record another brutal crime with in their
continued series of crimes against our steadfast, lofty
people when their evil warplanes bombed civil and service
installations in Basra province, a military spokesman for
Air Defence Command said. "At 0855 Sunday US and British warplanes which were coming from bases in Kuwait violated our airspace backed by AWACS carrying out 35 armed sorties," the spokesman said. The warplanes flew over areas in Artawi, Bsyya, Jliba, Shbija, Lessif, Salman, Shatra, Rifaye, Qalat Sikar, Nasriya, Shanafiya, Basra, Rumaitha, Samawa, Afiq, Mishkhab, Taqtaqana and Nejaf, he added. "The enemy planes bombed service and civil installations in Basra province. The bombing resulted in the martyrdom of eight people and other nine injured," he pointed out. Iraqi defence units repulsed the enemy planes and forced them to retreat to their bases in Kuwait, he unleashed. |
