Strategic US policy.. To where? |

No doubt that recent threats launched by the US administration against Iraq have many things to discuss. And one to discuss those threats, first of all he should give up US propaganda in order to understand the main reasons behind targeting Iraq. Following the events of September 11th, the US had used all pretexts to launch its war against so-called 'terrorists' in Afghanistan as it invaded this country before toppling Taliban government. Attempting to search essential reasons to topple the said government, it is easy to say that Taliban was an anti-US rule let alone its extremist religious ideology. After the war ended, one concludes that the US administration has not achieved its claimed objectives in Afghanistan as no one confirmed surrounding Bin Laden or Mulla Umer. One the other hand, thousands lost their lives while a new pro-US government has established at a time many eyewitnesses told that the ex-regime guerillas are still dominating some parts of the country while they fan out doubts to the US forces security in Afghanistan. But, the real fact is that the US forces would not withdraw from Afghanistan forever. Dominating Afghanistan would present the US a golden position beneath the ex-soviet union, as many of them are Moslem states, which could be a "peaceful stronghold for Islamist fundamentalists to launch new attacks on the US interests" as Henry Kissinger said in a seminar. That's to say US presence in Afghanistan would enable them to watch China and Russia, as great world powers, instead of doing so from Washington. Another advantage could be seen when the US forces were situated near Pakistan and India so as to make use of the conflict driving there. Besides, looking forward Gezveen oil fields could be a new era of investing oil instead of the Gulf oil fields specially that can put the US corporation a strong partner with Iran in order to get big shares in the proposed oil project. Reviewing the situations of the region can easily reveal the real US schemes. The US administration is pressing for finding out a new camp that raises its interests as it is the case in the Middle East, there, it is thinking of the Zionist entity's security as an everlasting US ally a matter urges it to think again of means of marching a duel with the entity's foe while looking at its northern and eastern fron: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon in addition to Iran as the main anti-Zionist powers in the region. The US supposes establishing coordination group among those countries would collect these powers and lead to a real end to the US ever stronghold in "Israel". Hence, they plotted to launch a new campaign of aggression that could meet their dreams of devastating Iraq and its infrastructure so as to paralyze Iraq's progressive project which looks for a legible plan to develop the country and raise Iraqis standard living in addition to go forward future as an independent state amid a complex situation that covers the region with tension, conflicts and US ambitions. On the other hand, US hostile policy would dissociate the proposed adherence among the said Arab states at least to ensure "Israeli" security. The other aim is to establish a pro-US group that can rule Iraq under US orders to turn the country into the colonialist reign again whereby everybody realizes consequences of such plot against the country. Therefore, powerful, independent Iraq with an honest leadership that could lead the country into bank of peace is the main US President foe and that what George W. Bush described President Saddam Hussein since he felt that this leader could maintain and defend his country and people's rights against US schemes. This statement does not surprise any conscious rational man if he understands US hostile intimidate policy. Because US strategic policy stands against all patriotic world leaders like President Hussein. Clarifying more, just go back to the US ex-foreign minister Henry Kissinger who supposed the way into "Israeli" security should pass by Iraq !!! |
