Coalition aircraft fired upon

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, TURKEY -- At approximately 1:30 p.m. Iraqi time, an F-15E enforcing the Northern no-fly zone over Iraq was fired upon by an anti-aircraft artillery site north of Mosul. The F-15E dropped one GBU-12 in response to this hostile act.
There was no damage to coalition aircraft.
Damage to Iraqi forces is currently under assessment.
Coalition forces assigned to Operation Northern Watch (ONW) will continue to enforce the northern no-fly zone.
